Organic Yellow Split Peas

The Yellow Split Pea is about 1/4 of an inch wide and pale yellow in colour, having a mild flavour and soft texture. They are a great source of protein and are commonly used to make pea soup, and sometimes pease pudding. Split peas can be soaked before cooking or cooked from raw. Beans and pulses are naturally low in fat, high in fibre and rich in protein.
