Raw Organic Criollo Cacao Nibs from Real Foods. The cacao beans are simply cracked and have their shells removed leaving the raw nibs (this process is called winnowing). Great for adding a natural bitter crunch to cookies and other baked goods, for making your own chocolate or simply for nibbling if you like a raw snack. Brim full of goodness, and especially rich in magnesium, sulphur and antioxidants, cacao is said, amongst other things, to encourage wellbeing through the release of anandamide, a bliss endowing compound.
