Organic Apricot

Unsulphured organic apricot from Turkey.

These Organic Apricots contain no sulphites for preservation, these organic dried apricots are brown because they are sun-dried: sunlight oxidises their flesh, which acts as a natural preservative. These are sweet, plump, almost tangy apricots sourced from Turkey. They are excellent in tagines, added to mueslis or in baking.

Apricots are an excellent source of vitamin A, a very good source of vitamin C, and a good source of dietary fibre and potassium. The powerful antioxidant lycopene is one of the carotenoids found in apricots.
