Chamomile Tea

Chamomile flowers produce a wonderful sweet floral cup that makes the perfect drink to relax and soothe your mind. This is a great drink throughout the day because it is mild and caffeine free. A popular medicinal herb, Chamomile is used as a calming and anti-inflammatory remedy dating back to ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. Usually infused as a hot fragrant drink for relaxation, Chamomile may also be used in baths to sooth and soften your skin. To relieve chest congestion or a stuffy nose, try boiling some Chamomile and inhaling the vapor. Chamomile strengthens the immune system, aids digestion and calms the spirit. Brewing - To prepare the perfect cup of Chamomile, take 2.5g of flowers per cup and add water that is just off the boil. Allow the flowers to infuse the water for 4-5 minutes depending on your taste.
